A great way to stretch the budget is to either spray paint mix-matched ornaments to the desired color you want. The matte finished ornaments look more expensive and can be mixed with shiny. For simple round ornaments, shop discount stores (walmart. target, kmart). You can easily get 6-12 round glass ornaments for under $5.00; than use the rest of your budget on more expensive pieces. Another great idea is to use the economical ornaments you have add enhance them. Get a white feather boa and cut it into small 2 inch pieces and hot glue the to the top of a colored ornament. You can also use a sharpie pen in either black, silver or gold and draw swirls on your budget ornaments. You can add words, family names, sayings, etc. Do this on about 1/4 of your ornaments.
